Here are some of the Project Management tools I created for this project, including our asset list, individual timeline, and time logs. These helped us track assets through each stage of production, keep track of where each team member was at with their work, and see how many hours we were putting into different parts of the project.
Trolley Problem is a 40-second animated short created in 15 weeks by a team of 9. I served as Co-Project Manager, Rigging Lead, and Rendering Lead.
As Co-Project Manager, I was responsible for the creation of our project management materials, including time-tracking, shot and asset lists, and scheduling. As well, I worked with my Co-Project Manager, Grace Alanis, to hold regular one-on-one check-ins with our team members as well as all-hands meetings several times a week.
Each of our four characters had a different rig setup including a stationary character, a wooden biped, a trio of characters combined into one rig, and a train. The base of each of these rigs was created within python, then tweaked to meet each character’s specific needs.
