Chuck is a character I created over the course of 3 days. I am responsible for all aspects. The sculpt was made in ZBrush, the rig was done in Maya with my modular python script, the surfacing was done in Substance Painter, the groom was made in Houdini, and the final product was rendered in Pixar's Renderman.
Tony is a character I created for fun outside of class. I am responsible for all aspects. The goal of the character sketch was to practice more grooming techniques and learn how to do pyro sims in Houdini, then render them out of Renderman. The character was sculpted in ZBrush, retopologized, rigged, and posed within Maya, surfaced in Substant
I created Fin to get my feet wet with Renderman's Stylized Looks system. It was created over the course of 2 months and I am responsible for all aspects except the character concept art, which was done by the amazingly-talented Maggie Lloyd. This served as a fun experiment and I hope to expand on what I learn in later projects.
I wanted to challenge myself to make a 30-second short in a single day and this was the result. This was a great chance for me to practice my character creation skills and work in a looser environment than typical animation production. The short is rough around the edges, but was incredibly educational and helped me hone my CG workflow.
Outside the Box is a 40-second short I created in the first two weeks of 2024. I am responsible for all aspects and had a blast making it. The robot (Gordon) was procedurally rigged in Maya with python and everything was rendered in Renderman.
The Gobble Challenge is an animation competition I created as A&M ACM SIGGRAPH's President in which everyone took a premade character (model and rig by me, and textures by Maggie Lloyd), and animated him in crazy situations over the course of 48-hours. This was my submission.
Glimby is a 30-second animated short I created by myself over 5 days. It served as a technical test of both my procedural lattice deformer python script as well as a test of a 2D rendering system within Maya.

Wobbl-E is a small-scale project I created with Shea Stafford in fulfillment of A&M SIGGRAPH's Spring Mentorship Program. It was a blast to mentor someone new to animation and I learned a lot myself.
