GigaJam is a 36-hour creative jam hosted by the Texas A&M chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH. Over a single weekend, animation students gather together in teams of up to four to create art in either the Still Work or Time-Based category.
I joined GigaJam as Head of Judging in 2022, then took over as Director in 2023. For 2024, I led the charge of expanding our event to 7 other SIGGRAPH chapters across 3 countries. Since I’ve been involved with the event, registration has gone from 17 people in 2022 to 110 people in 2024.
